Fabulous, loved every minute of the 3 weeks. I started by working with a few different agencies but am so glad I used Grand Holidays Ethiopia. Des is extremely thoughtful, listens to what you want and makes sure he provides it if he possibly can. He was extremely patient as I had lots of questions, concerns etc. We loved the country, Grand Holidays Ethiopia Tours and our guide, Mars and the driver. Every day was so special and Mars is amazing. No matter what subject, whether religion, birds, history... he has knowledge about it and he was a wonderful storyteller, photographer and never left our side, so considerate of our needs and making sure we were enjoying our time in Ethiopia.  Thank you!

It was a trip full of deep impressions. The beautiful landscapes of ethiopia, varying in the different areas, because of the rain so wonderful green, the temperature mostly pleasant, I even liked the rain and the thunderstorm, mostly at night, and every time the sun and warmness came soon after rain. All the hotels were very comfortable, breathtaking the outlook in Lalibela, in Gondar too, very nice the lay and decor at langano, the food during the tour was delicate. We became fond of our guide Daniel, he was about the age of our sons and he showed profound knowledge in different subjects, he was always flexible to our wishes and a likeable companion. The drivers too are kind and very certain. So I cannot say what would have been better.

We only sorrowed that the trip to simien must be cancelled because the street was to muddy. I will never forget this journey. Thank you and best wishes to you, and tell Daniel our kind regards

Ethiopia is a fantastic country to visit, so much history, beautiful scenery and the nicest people we have met on our travels to date.

There are a lot of companies offering tours to Ethiopia so its always a hard decision who to go with. I just had a great trip with Grand Holidays Ethiopia to Bahar Dar, Gondar, Lalibela and Axum. Wow! What a place. What I encountered on this trip was far more mind blowing than the famine and starvation tag that many, unfortunately, associate with the name. It is truly beautiful with lush rolling green landscapes, the blue nile falls, Tana lake monasteries, incredible Rock hewn churches,the Stelae of Axum, lovely people and much, much more. Go now, its Magic!!!

This is a beautiful country! I loved the historic sites, the friendly people and the whole experience. Every thing was well organized and the guides and drivers were professionals. Being in Lalibela when all the pilgrims were there, the churches in Gondar were amazing! Over all it was terrific!

Ethiopia is a beautiful country having both historical treasures and beautifully preserved natural reserves. Most of the ethnic groups are friendly. Excellent service, perfectly  trained and friendly staff, very good driver and guide.

It has been an amazing trip to Ethiopia. We felt the freedom to enjoy many areas "off the path" and still felt safe and secure in our exploration. Going to an actual home and enjoying coffee in the hostess was special, and unforgotable. Visiting the clinic at lalibela and the Orphanage in Addis was very nice too. Very diverse! I feel I saw a wide variety of Ethiopia in a very short time. I loved meeting the people and especially appreciated that Desale and Tilahun were locals of Lalibela. It added much. I enjoyed visiting Lalibela and the churches and homes of its residents. I especially enjoyed Blue Nile Falls, visiting the rock churches in Lalibela, and visiting the orphanage in Addis Ababa.
